• The Swan Sanctuary: National but based in Egham, Surrey: http://www.swanuk.org.uk Dedicated to the care and treatment of swans and waterfowl. With an established reputation, not only within the British Isles but worldwide.
• Swan Rescue Sanctuary (Wimbourne Dorset): www.swan-rescue.co.uk 24hr rescue service for swans, hospital. Large sanctuary of 40 lakes & ponds,long term holders. Largest purpose built rescue centre in the UK.
• Berwick Swan and Wildlife Trust http://www.swan-trust.org Set up following a major pollution incident on the River Tweed estuary at Berwick in 1991, when 184 Mute Swans had to be washed, the Trust rescues and deals with all sick and injured wildlife.
• Wychbold Swan Rescue: Worcs: http://www.wychboldswanrescue.co.uk: Rescue rehabilitate and return back to their natural habitat swan and all waterbirds. Registered charity and have been rescuing now for approx 35 years.
• Yorkshire Swan Rescue Hospital http://www.ysrh.org.uk/ Volunteer workers and veterinary surgeons rescue, care, treatment and rehabilitation of injured swans and wild animals. The largest and busiest treatment centre for injured swans in Northern England, and treats the second largest number of injured swans in the UK
