london: I have two miniture poodles that i need a good home for, due to long work hours and personal changes in my life i cant give them the life they deserve anymore. They are two sisters that i want kept together as they are very close, they have lovely funny personalities and are full of life and have alot of energy, they are good with older children little ones make then a little nervous, they like to be around people and are very loving, really dont want to get rid of them as i love them to bits but my work hrs keep me out of the house for to long and i need to do whats right for the girls.

Carmarthenshire: Bear is a lovable happy and cuddly 7 month old Akita / GSD cross and is currently on foster in Carmarthenshire. He is on foster with other dogs but tends to be too boisterous for the smaller dogs, we think a home with a confident larger breed female would be best; one that will take none of his nonsense. He can be a bit growly with other dogs when food is around, but seems fine with toys. Bear is on foster with cats at the moment and very interested in them in an "I want to play" way , unfortunately due to his size and over-enthusiasm this kind of play will probably be dangerous to both parties! He doesn‚t show interest in chickens (although they are fenced off) and is respectful of horses. His house training is a work in progress as he sometimes forgets he needs to go and has the occasional wee. Bear is a strong boy and as he fills out likely to get stronger so an experienced owner committed to ongoing training and socialisation is needed. He will benefit from consistent kind but firm handling. Due to Bears over-enthusiasm and bounciness we are looking for a home with teenage children only. He has basic sit/give paw training and his recall is described at the moment as reasonable. If Bear can get his paws over something he will get over it so a well secured garden area is a must. He will chew things if bored so someone home most of the day is best and although he likes car travel he can be sick, this should improve with more trips out. contact : All Hope Rescue dogs are neutered, vaccinated, wormed, flea treated and microchipped prior to rehoming. A homecheck will be required, and you will need to come and meet the dog with your own dogs and family. Hope Rescue rehomes throughout the UK. A Pre-Home Interest Form can be downloaded from www.hoperescue.org.uk and should be returned to dogs@hoperescue.org.uk |

Torbay: I have recently bred a small number of Silkies. Unfortunately 3 are definitely cockerels and have started to crow [loudly and constantly!] As we live in a residential area there is no way they can go outside in the coop for which they were intended - the neighbours would be up in arms! Does anyone know where I could find a new home for these birds? I do not want any money - just somewhere they can go and not be killed simply because they are boys. I have tried a few local parks, but they want hens as well. I don't mind travelling to drop them off as long as I know they are going to a good home. If you can help at all, or point me in the right direction I would be most obliged. Many thanks for taking time to read this email.

West Wales: Rocky 18 month old lab cross
Rocky is a lively young lab cross who is boisterous but very affectionate. He walks reasonably well on a lead, but his recall needs work and he would benefit from socialisation with other dogs, although he is attending dog-training classes to overcome this. He travels well, is clean in his kennel and is good with children although he would be too boisterous for toddlers. He likes to play with toys but can be a bit destructive if left on his own. Rocky would be better with someone who could be home a lot as he loves human company, and would settle with a dominant dog who would put him in his place. If you can offer Rocky a loving forever home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on rehoming@ceredigionanimalrescue.org.uk We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check.

West Wales: Jimmy 3 year old Whippet
Jimmy is a 3-year-old Whippet who is a really friendly boy. He walks well on a lead, has very good recall, and knows some basic commands. He gets on with other dogs and has lived with a female Jack Russell in kennels. He would not be good with cats, and would probably be better in a quieter home, with no small children. If you can offer Jimmy a loving, forever home, please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on rehoming@ceredigionanimalrescue.org.uk We are based in West Wales but rehome all over the UK and will always carry out a home check.

Bracknell Berkshire: George is a 9 year old terrier cross who is in foster for Hope Rescue. He is desperate to find a new family but for some reason keeps getting overlooked. George is just adorable He is such a lovely, little, friendly boy who loves human company. He would make a wonderful companion for pretty much anyone, particularly someone living on their own as he doesn't leave your side. He LOVES cuddling up with you on the sofa but don't be fooled by his age as he adores his two long walks a day, has lots of energy and loves to play. He is pretty perfect in every way....sleeps all night in the kitchen, loves his food, travels well, good wih other dogs, people etc.... His cute signature move is balancing on his bum and doing a very cute beg! George would like a quiet home with no young children or cats (as he does like to chase, although he is getting better). He is living with 2 other oldie dogs at the moment who he gets on very well with as they are not boisterous. He really is an adorable little chap who deserves to find his forever home soon. His full details and other pictures can be found on the Hope Rescue Site.

Oliva, Spain: Desperate home needed for loving DEAF dalmatian. He is 5 and called Blue. Story is, he was my friends dog. They have moved back to England and left the dog in a small, dark and freezing house in need of reform here in Oliva. For 23.5 hours a day he was left on his own, apart from when their son came to feed him. They were going to put him to sleep as their son also moved back to england, but i told them not to. I found someone who said he could keep him for a while, but he is moving back to England too and said he couldn't keep him for long. As it is, i have to move into my nans ground floor apartment today with him and live on my own until i get him a home! He's very confused, and because he was left, and because he is deaf, he barks whenever i leave him (probably separation anxiety disorder). Im trying to work on this! He's such a lovely dog and absolutely loves people, but he is very confused and stressed. Because he is deaf i cannot let him off the lead when walking, so if i can find him a home with garden that would be perfect. He is house trained but was kept outside at his 1st home. If you know of anyone who has had deaf dogs before, or who has the time needed to train him properly, please let me know!!

West Wales : Annie ? young Welsh foxhound
Annie is a Welsh foxhound who was found as a stray and has the most adorable way of looking at you with big sad eyes. She likes peace and quiet and does not like being shut in. She is good with other dogs, and very laid back but has no concept of commands at all. She is good on a lead but her recall is non-existent. She would make a lovely gentle companion for someone with patience and somewhere secure to exercise her. She travels well and is clean in the kennel. If you can offer Annie a loving forever home please contact us on 0845 4630623 or email us on rehoming@ceredigionanimalrescue.org.uk We are based in West Wales but re-home all over the UK and will always carry out a home check

Peterborough : Hello. My name is Chester. I am a 7 month old short haired tri-colour collie, in desperate need of a new home. My owners love me dearly, but know that they can't give me the sort of life I deserve. I need more attention than their working lifestyle allows. I am very good-natured, mix well with other dogs and am quite obedient for my age. I like children, but, owing to my young age, I do tend to get carried away a bit with Œplay fighting‚, so a firm hand is needed. I love walks anywhere, but especially woods, and also ball chasing and playing. Most of all, I need lots of love and attention. I am ID chipped, so my new owner(s) will need to register their details at a small cost of £5, with IDENTICHIP . All relevant documents will be handed over with me. My owners don't expect any money for me, as their only wish is that I will be well cared for.

York: Pip is an 8 year old JRT, who is in good health and appears to have a lot of years left! Pip was handed in along with his brother Alfie because the 2 of them had started to pick on the other, older family dog and generally be mischievous. Pip was the ringleader so once on his own with a new owner he will calm down. Pip has been a little treasure here, but like a lot of JRT's without firm rules they can become unruly! Pip is looking for a loving home where he can be fussed and run in a secure garden.
