Athens Greece: Hello,
I am in need of some help please. I am Irish and living in Athens. I adopted a stray pup during the summer. He's a beautiful healthy dog now 10 mths old. However I am leaving Athens to London and have gotten information on bringing him with me but it takes 6mths!! I dont have that time I must leave by the end of March. He is up to date on vacc and also neutered and microchipped. I really dont know what to do and even though its hard putting him up for adoption is an option. PLEASE maybe you have some idea for me.
I would greatly appreciate any help you can offer.
Thank you
Heather

worcestershire: Hi, We recently adopted a deaf dog(springer spaniel), but did not know until we had took her home. She is a lovely dog, but keeps weeing in her bed and on the floor. We are at our wits end. She is about 10 years old, had been used as a breeding dog and has lived outside. I know that we would be able to retrain her to only toilet outside if only should could hear. Does anyone please have any advice for us? thanks

Flore, Northants: I rescued a dog last year and it did not work out. He had a problem I could not cope with and I had to pass him on to the RSPCA who found him a new home. Since then I have wondered if I could not offer a short-term foster home to another animal in need. Please tell me what doing this with you would entail. Thanks.

21 Jan:
Hexham, Northumberland: On 5th January following a serious fall of soot the sweep found a live pigeon stuck in the chimney. It was very weak and covered in soot with a gash on its back so we cleaned it up a bit and put it in a box in a sheltered area but because of feather loss and lack of food or water for five days it didn't fly away. After a couple of days it still didn't fly (the wings are ok) so it's now residing in a rabbit hutch size box. It's tail feathers are a bit scraggy and I'm happy to say it's looking a lot better, but I'm not sure if I need to wait until the tail feathers improve. It's in a very quiet room will little disturbance. Your advice would be much appreciated.

16 Jan:
Worcestershire: I have just returned from Woodnorton Hall in Worcestershire where I discovered the most beautiful peacock. Apparentely this peacock arrived last year and has,on occasion, caused damage to blue cars, thinking it is his mate! I'm concerned because although he seems to be quite an attraction he isn't being cared for. I last saw him two days ago struggling to cope with the snow. Is there anyone who could collect this bird and take it to an appropriate place where it can roam free with other birds and be cared for properly?

Redhill: I live in a block of flats which do not allow animals. A tenant who moved in has a large dog who barks incessantly to go out. Due to the cold weather they tell him to shut up. He is only allowed out to do his toilet. We have sent a letter via the management co. but there has been no response. now she has punched a hole in my window because i have banged on the wall to stop the barking. the other neighbors feel the same.
